Description

We are offering boards with cosmetic defects. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction or manufacturing defects. The top sheet was scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse. We have classified them based on their condition. This board has been rated 3*, meaning it has minor visible defects.

The Shifter is a board developed by Lobster, the brand of the Helgason brothers. 200% dedicated to freestyle, it features a Twin-Tip shape combined with a traditional camber and a playful flex. It allows you to shred in the terrain park but also enjoy riding on groomers.

What is the Lobster Shifter snowboard made for?

With its symmetrical shape for comfortable switch riding, traditional camber for stability on hard snow, and well-balanced flex offering pop for ollies and flex in the tips, the Shifter promises great freestyle sessions. It has all the qualities to excel in the park and expand your trick bag while remaining stable and enjoyable to ride on groomers. In all circumstances, it provides the riding comfort and forgiveness offered by Sidekick technology and its fairly soft flex.

Who is the Lobster Shifter snowboard aimed at?

We recommend this model to intermediate to advanced freestyle snowboarders. Those looking for a board that allows them to go all out in the terrain park, perfect their tricks, whether on kickers or rails, and also warm up or relax by cruising on groomers.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
