With the Bellevue, you have one of Salomon's best women's freeride boards. This board is performing-driven, but it also has a bit of flex for optimal comfort throughout the day. Moreover, it is easy to handle and very stable, allowing you to spend a great time on the mountain.

What is the Salomon Bellevue DA*** snowboard made for?

The Bellevue is a directional board designed for freeride and capable of adapting to all-mountain riding. Its traditional camber is pronounced, providing power and a great ability to gain speed on various types of terrain. In powder, its tapered directional shape and the setback stance make float more natural and easier. The set-back stance on the board also allows for easier handling and quicker turn initiation. On groomers or hard snow conditions, the traditional camber will offer all its gripping ability for precise turn control and powerful rebound. The poplar wood core is reinforced with layers of fibreglass and carbon, which stiffen the snowboard to provide more stability at high speeds and dynamic performance in the backcountry or while carving.

Who is the Salomon Bellevue DA*** snowboard aimed at?

Due to its powerful freeride-oriented construction, the Bellevue snowboard is dedicated to advanced or expert snowboarders who are very comfortable all over the mountain and do not want to limit themselves to groomers only.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
