The splitboard knives Crampon Prime Wide from Karakoram are perfect when hard snow is vitrified. Their hybrid architecture provides a clean grip, while retaining freedom of travel in ascent mode. The front teeth, aligned on the pivot axis, remain fully engaged in the snow, whatever the wedge height used. Quick-fit mounting without taking off your shoes means you can adapt your equipment immediately when conditions become tense.
