Description

We are offering for sale skis with cosmetic defects. They are new, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction or manufacturing defects. Following an initial drilling, we have carefully filled the holes and installed a binding that covers the old holes. A rating based on their condition has been established: this ski has been rated as 3*, meaning it has barely visible defects.

The Black Crows Ova Freebird benefits from a lightweight construction with a paulownia core, reinforced with a titanal plate and fibreglass and carbon fibres. It weighs only 1,125 grams per ski in size 170.3 cm! This allows for light-footed and light-hearted touring, while maintaining excellent skiability in descents...

What is the Black Crows Ova Freebird DA***+ Alpinist 8 demo ski made for?

The Ova Freebird is perfect for all-round ski touring in resorts or in light conditions if you don't intend to tackle deep freeride conditions. Its compact size makes it light on the climbs and manageable in the descents. It is easy to handle, especially with its double rocker which increases manoeuvrability and pivot capability. This double rocker also gives a boost in powder by improving float! In the centre of the ski, the traditional camber is there to provide stability and grip on hard snow. The Ova Freebird has the width of an all-mountain ski, so it can very well be skied on groomers/side country during a traditional day of skiing, even if it will offer less intensity than a pure alpine ski, due to its lightweight construction.
