The women's fast hiking shoes La Sportiva Akyra Woman Gore-Tex are aimed at fast hikers seeking protection and precision on technical terrain, with a design thought out for the female foot and a medium width that suits most morphologies. The upper combines an Ultra-Comfort AirMesh interior, thermo-adhesive TPU MicroLite Skeleton™ microfiber reinforcements and breathable engineered mesh reinforced with Flex-Guard™ zones, for an enveloping fit and good moisture management. Waterproof-breathable Gore-Tex membrane ensures reliable three-season protection, while the injection-molded EVA midsole and Ortholite® Hybrid Mountain Running® 5 mm comfort sole contribute to stable cushioning over long distances. Underfoot, the FriXion® Red sole with Trail Rocker™ profile promotes a fluid stride and efficient grip, complemented by a 9 mm drop and a claimed weight of 380 g per shoe, for a compromise between robustness, comfort and dynamism.
