Description

With the principle that its production has a minimum impact on the environment, the Picture brand has eco-designed the Stone ski jacket with 57% bio-sourced polyester. Of vegetable origin, this polyester does not come from the oil industry, but from the remains of sugar cane after the sugar has been extracted. This jacket is also made from 43% recycled polyester, which is the result of the reuse of plastic bottles. In addition to its concern for the preservation of the environment, Picture devotes another part of its resources to improving the working conditions of those who make its collections as a member of the Fair Wear Foundation.

As practical for skiing as it is for snowboarding, Picture Stone Jkt is built with a breathable, bio-sourced and recyclable Dryplay 20K/15K waterproof membrane. It ensures an excellent level of waterproofing as well as excellent breathability. To protect you as effectively as possible from humidity, this ski parka also benefits from waterproof YKK seams and zips. Its fabric is coated with PFC-free EcoElite Teflon. Up to 3 times more durable than other PFC-free water-repellent treatments, it is made from Bluesign certified bio-sourced materials.

As far as protection against the cold is concerned, the Picture Stone Jacket combines the Coremax and Thermal Dry System linings. It is equipped with a protective stand-up collar and a wraparound hood. Thumbhole sleeves and adjustable cuffs ensure that the garment fits snugly. The snow skirt prevents powder from getting inside. With all its high-end features, this ski parka is ideal for trips to the resort and freeride expeditions completely sheltered from the elements.
