For total moisture protection, the outer surface benefits from a durable DWR water-repellent treatment, while all major seams and zips are waterproof.

For protection against the cold, the Rossignol Relax Ride Free pants feature a nylon lining and PrimaLoft ECO 100% recycled thermal insulation, with a fill weight of 40g. It also features snow gaiters that prevent powder from getting inside ski boots or snow boots. The lower legs are reinforced so they won't be damaged by potential edge blows. The zipped vents promote air circulation for good body temperature regulation.
