Fischer's most essential reference continues its adventure and is always progressing. Its name hasn't taken a wrinkle and its latest evolutions make it an even better performing ski with the character we know it.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer RCS Skate Plus Medium cross-country ski?

The first thing to note is the camber, the Medium version corresponds to small skiers and/or for soft snow conditions. This lower camber is indeed more appropriate because it does not have a tendency to plunge the ski with a spatula, which can have harmful effects technically when skating. For smaller skiers, it is a plus to have a softer camber on which they will have less difficulty to stack their weight when they put their foot down. As far as structure is concerned, nothing changes, the Air Core Carbon honeycomb core coupled with a thin carbon blade at the level of the skate for a gain of dynamism in lateral thrust. This 80% air core, vertically positioned, ensures lightness and torsional resistance for efficient skating. The most considered as the most versatile sole from Fischer is suitable for snow above -5°C and the novelty on this model is that it benefits from Cold Base Bonding, cold bonded the sole reacts better to waxing and maintains a superior glide quality because the molecular integrity is not impacted during mounting. IFP plates are made for mounting Turnamic bindings, compatible with Prolink, NNN and Turnamic standard footwear. Gentle in skating and foot placement, versatile and benefiting from technologies directly derived from Speedmax, the RCS Skate plus Medium is a high performance and forgiving ski, with a softer tip than the higher end models that forgives the defects of support when the ski is placed on the ground. We also note the new silkscreen printing very sober matt black which is of the most beautiful effect!

Beware! Fischer skis are delivered pre-waxed to protect the soles during transport. It is therefore normal that you find soles with paraffin and the ski must be scraped at home before first use.
