Description

Given the success of the RS 7 in recent years, we have decided to offer you its big sibling, the RS 8. A very good leisure sports skating ski, with incredible tolerance and technologies from top-of-the-range models.   

What are the characteristics of the Salomon RS 8 cross-country ski?   

This supercharged version of the RS 7 incorporates the same concepts of Comfort and stability as the latter. However, it is equipped with a denser Densolite 3000 shell which increases the ski's reactivity at the end of the thrust. Equipped with a reinforced camber, it ensures good stability during the glide phases while increasing dynamism. Very light, stable and sporty, it is also fitted with the Salomon G4 pre-curved and factory brushed sole. It offers a remarkable gliding quality in line with the type of ski range. Very well balanced, tolerant and particularly easy to manoeuvre in the technical portions, it is a joy to ski in all types of conditions. Like all Salomon skating skis, it is pre-drilled for mounting Salomon Prolink and SNS Pilot standard bindings. To have fun and progress in skating technique, this is a very appropriate model. It makes skating easier to understand and gives the skier time to get their bearings during the gliding phases. It's an excellent compromise for getting into skating on a regular basis.

The RS 8 is particularly suitable for skiers looking for technical benchmarks who wish to invest in an easy and forgiving model that will let them progress at their own pace. A very good compromise for working on technique with a ski that already performs well.
