Description

The RS8 is now one of the classics in Salomon’s skating ski range. Praised for its accessibility, it is also very surprising with its gliding performance. A well-made construction for a very interesting balance.

What are the characteristics of the Salomon RS8?  

Salomon has specialised in offering ultra-accessible and very enjoyable skating ski for a few years. This RS8 is quite something! Very easy in skate technique, nimble, stable and made with a Densolite 3000 core with glass fibre reinforcements, it proves to have a very reassuring and accessible behaviour. While you can compare it to the RS7, its construction is denser and its base is of better quality for more dynamism and better glide, thanks notably to the high-end universal G5 base. Made to be set up with Prolink bindings, this configuration offers more precision and more direct transfers from one push to the other. Surprising in terms of performance, the RS8 will satisfy amateur skiers looking to build their technical skills.

This ski is designed for Prolink Pro Skate bindings, these bindings are compatible with Turnamic, NNN and Prolink boot standards.
