This R-Classic binding meets the expectations ofRossignol athletes who wanted an additional lock to prevent rotation of the binding axis during races. It is therefore equipped with an additional lever designed tolock the binding, which adds handling but avoids untimely release, particularly during races where contact between skis or between skis and poles is frequent, especially on mass races. The lever must therefore be raised to unlock the rotating axle, and lowered once the boot is engaged to lock it in place.
