Rottefella's top-of-the-range binding is packed with technical and practical arguments. The concept of wide toe plates enables a more efficient transfer of energy thanks to a larger support surface which promotes the efficiency of each propulsion. The soft flex pad at the front of the shoe is designed to keep the foot rolling naturally and without constraint. As a practical matter, this binding requires no tools for mounting or moving back and forth should you wish to change your settings.

The new added plastic piece added to the shoeing lever adds to ease of handling, especially when taking off your shoes; in cold conditions the old version was far less practical and you had to work hard to unlock the lever.
