Description
The Speedmax 3D Skate Plus Medium is one of the skis used the most by competitive skiers, a very high-end model featuring all the latest innovations from Fischer, dedicated to performance.
What are the characteristics of the Fischer Speedmax 3D Skate Plus Medium Nordic ski?
The core is constituted of a honeycomb structure and a high modulus carbon plate. It guarantees secure and powerful skating even on hardpack and provides dynamism at the end of the push. The Medium camber works for two cases: lighter skiers looking for a ski that is not too exhausting, for soft snow on which a stiffer, more substantial and longer camber is less efficient. More forgiving than the Stiff version, it shines by how easily it flattens during the glide phase. The Plus base features a versatile structure leaning toward snow temperatures between 0 and -5°C. The 3D in the name stands for the fact that the ski has sidewalls made of a very thin base, which it is possible to wax, but only with cold liquid wax. This prevents snow from sticking on the sidewalls, making the ski heavier and altering the balance at the end of the push. Fischer left nothing to chance to offer the best in terms of cross-country skating performance. A stable and balanced behaviour, forgiving and very pleasant, almost unreal for such a performance model like the Speedmax 3D.
Useful information:
All Fischer cross-country skis from this range are pre-waxed to protect the bases during storage and transport. It is required to scrape and brush the skis before using them.
All Fischer Nordic skis feature IFP plates for Turnamic bindings compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
Who is the Fischer Speedmax 3D Skate Plus Medium cross-country ski for?
Meant for performance and efficiency, this ski is suited to experienced skiers who want a model guaranteeing glide and dynamism. However, needless to say that this Medium version is the softest in the range, making it a very comfortable and forgiving ski considering its level of performance. This version is great on soft snow and also suits lighter skiers.
