This version of the Twin Skin Race is made for powerful and heavier skiers, the Stiff flex allows them to not flatten the ski too much, improving the performance during the glide phase. A model that is still forgiving if you are in the appropriate weight bracket.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Twin Skin Race Stiff Nordic ski?

On this high-end model, Fischer favoured forgiveness while working on some elements for performance. This is why the Air Core Basalite structure was chosen, less stiff than carbon structures, it provides more comfort on pushes in classic and makes grip easier to find. The Stiff flex is meant for heavier skiers who need a stiffer ski to avoid flattening the camber too much and keep efficient glide phases. The skins are the technical asset of this model, Fischer featured 100 % mohair skin on this Twin Skin for performance, these skins are the most technical and therefore, the best in terms of glide, however they require more effort regarding posture, which encourages the skier to use good technique. The ski offers a very interesting recipe, as it provides both comfort, glide and performance.

Useful information:

All Fischer cross-country skis from this range are pre-waxed to protect the bases during storage and transport. It is required to scrape and brush the skis before using them.
All Fischer Nordic skis feature IFP plates for Turnamic bindings compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.
