K2 team rethinks its freestyle backcountry range. Now the Marksman replaces the Shreditor 102 and pumped up its sidecut with a 106mm waist. Straight out from Pep Fujas’s spirit, the Marksman ski open new possibilities. If you look a little bit closer, you will notice its left/right asymmetrical tip and tail shape that maintains a long effective inside edge for greater stability and float, while the oversized taper on the outside makes for effortless butters and predictable handling in deep snow.
What can the K2 Marksman do?
This new school mid-fat ski can ride big freeride lines in deep and drop cornices and cliffs and land crazy tricks on a kicker you shaped with your friends. It floats in deep thanks to its tip and tail rocker. More short turns than long curbs, the Marksman has an impressive handiness and can absorb hard landings. Its poplar and pine core gives it a great pop and stay light. It takes a little while to get used to the asymmetrical shape of this modern ski.
Who is the K2 Marksman designed for?
We advice the ski for confirmed to expert skiers looking for a freestyle backcountry ski. Once you will master it, the Marksman will become your first choice to push the limits on all terrains.
