The S/Max X-Stiff is available is various versions, this particular option does not have mounting plates. This ski is stiffer than the "standard" version and provides more dynamism to heavier skiers. 

What are the features of the Salomon S/Max Skate X-Stiff Nordic ski? 

This ski was designed to meet the needs of powerful skiers. The S/Max X-Stiff is rather hard snow oriented, but has a broader program for heavier skiers. The S-Core 45 structure is innovative, made from high-density foam and 45 % recycled plastic. In addition to being more sustainable, it offers good performances. Thanks to the carbon plates, the ski is efficient in skating and offers aggressive edging. The high-end G5 universal base with an all-round structure and fluor free Swix factory wax job guarantees a great glide

This ski is pre-drilled for Salomon Prolink bindings. They are compatible with Turnamic, NNN and Prolink standards.
