Description

We are selling items with cosmetic defects. They are new and unused, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction faults. The graphics have been scratched during transit or storage.
We rank them according to their state:
This ski has been ranked 3*, it has barely noticeable defects.

This winter Salomon modifies its entire freeski range. The Q and Rocker2 series are gone and make pace to the brand new QST ski serie. Here is the good news that will simplify all freeriders’ life looking for the perfect fat. The QST 118 is simply the biggest Salomon Ski. even if the inverted 3D wood core technology is still a mystery, the result is impressive with a lively and powerful ski underfoot. To be even more powerful, the QST 118 got itself a titanium plate and carbon and flax fiber reinforcements. Do you want a lethal weapon for the big fat powder days? Salomon delivers with the QST 118.

What can the Salomon QST 118 ski do?

This monster with super charged sidecut is powder hungry. It floats in the deepest snow with incredible efficiency that will make most of the freeriders crazy. Its big double rocker and light Koroyd tip smash everything on their path and help to cushion and resist to important impacts. The QST 118 floats on the surface in the deepest snow with dexterity and uses to perfection its tapered shape to shred powder. A ski that fat won’t like ice nor hard snow but it will be decent on slopes and super playful in softer snow.

Who is the Salomon QST 118 ski designed for?

The freeriders will come from all over the place to try this new Salomon toy. Watch out this ski is not for the common skier, but if you have a solid technique and a strong character you will have a blast with this out of bounds ski.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
