Description

The Arbor brand was launched with the Element. 25 years of existence and therefore 25 years of testing and enhancement to offer you a great level of versatility and performance, the goal of the Arbor Element snowboard. It features a beautiful wood veneer topsheet and a wood shell made from sustainable resources and offers an excellent power to weight ratio. The glue is made with bioresin, the edges are made from recycled steel and the sole has been waxed with natural wax. 

What is the programme of the Arbor Element Camber snowboard?  

The Element Camber has an invigorating construction that offers stability and control during take-offs, but the board remains overall fairly accessible and easy to handle. The classic camber and Grip Tech edge protrusions really give you a great grip on hard snow and enables fun in cut turns onpiste. It performs equally well off-piste thanks to the position of the inserts, set back 1 centimetre to facilitate t lift of the nose in powder. A great board to carve curves on all terrains, while maintaining ease when switching and the possibility to perform some tricks!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
