The Evil Twin is a twin-tip snowboard, with a flex perfectly balanced in power and playability, carbon reinforcements and 3D spatulas (with a concave shape) that provide more playability on packed snow and more flotation in powder.  

What is the Bataleon Evil Twin snowboard program?  

The Evil Twin combines a classic camber with a dynamic wood shell, reinforced with a central carbon spar and cross carbon reinforcements at the bindings. It is therefore a board that pops hard in ollie and holds its edge solidly in a cut turn, while keeping an accessible flex that makes it fun to place presses and other tricks requiring playful spatulas. You can have fun freestyle in the snowpark, but you can also put some rhythm in the turns and go downhill. The concave shape of the tips provides more tolerance on the piste and makes the glide more fluid in transformed snow. So, you can also have fun with the fresh snow at the edge of the piste!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
