The Bataleon Spirit is a women's snowboard designed for beginners or occasional snowboarders. It offers a soft and accessible flex thanks to its glass fibre reinforced wood shell, while its low camber and concave tips provide a secure grip while forgiving many edge mistakes. It is really perfect for learning how to ride your snowboard, to manage your first turns and to control your speed during descents. Then, you will be able to accelerate and learn cut turns, then discover the edges of the slopes and why not even try the snowpark. Its directional twin shape, symmetrical but with a slightly backwards foot position, offers a lot of versatility and manoeuvrability. It facilitates turns, improves the exit in powder, while enabling you to do freestyle. An accessible board that will allow you to progress on all levels, smoothly!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
