Description

The Horrorscope was manufactured in the eco-friendly factory in Capita, Austria, with a lightweight core made of FSC-certified poplar and beech wood, fiberglass reinforcements and an adhesive made with 60% vegetable-based glue. From the well-thought-out graphics to the powerful, lightweight and robust construction, the Horrorscope is a quality snowboard with which you can use to debut or improve your skills.

What is the programme of the Capita Horrorscope snowboard?

The Horrorscope combines a camber profile offering both tolerance and versatility, a symmetrical twin-tip shape and a flex that is both supple and tonic. This makes it both easy to handle and very playful in freestyle, an amazing combo that should allow you to enjoy it throughout the resort. The flat camber provides a reassuring grip on the piste, while the early tilt of the front and rear spatula reduces the risk of edge faults while providing better flotation in powder snow. Finally, the flex allows you to ride easily, without forcing on the supports, while retaining enough energy for ollie pops the way we like them. Everything needed for fun, pleasure and progress, whether you start on a 100 % freestyle programme or for relaxed sessions.

Who is the Capita Horrorscope snowboard intended for?

We recommend this model either to a freestyle snowboarder who spends most of his time in the snowpark or on the street, or to a beginner/intermediate snowboarder who is looking for a freestyle-oriented board for a gentle introduction and a gradual evolution towards more acrobatic practice.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
