Description

The DC Space Echo is a symmetrical board on which the position of the feet has been shifted 2.5 cm backwards to provide more control and versatility. There's also a toned flex and a classic camber that makes this board quite technical to ride but offers great performance on all terrains.

What is the program of the DC Space Echo snowboard?

The Space Echo is able to go everywhere but still maintains the playability of a freestyle board, especially due to the symmetry of its spatulas which allows you to switch without any problem. It also offers a powerful pop, thanks to its wood/beech core and classic 6mm camber. If you're not interested in switch and freestyle, you can still enjoy its gliding quality and handling. It works very well, holding its edge well on hard snow and easily edging into the snow, providing turn recovery and stability at high speeds. Sufficient enough to visit the entire station and go off-piste!

Who is the DC Space Echo snowboard for?

This model is designed for advanced to expert snowboarders looking for a versatile and high-performance board to ride hard, vary the terrain and do freestyle, and who are looking for a board with which to do all 400 strokes.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
