Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Created by Mervin Manufacturing in its Seattle factory, the Gnu Money snowboard symbolises the American brand's commitment to eco-responsibility. The company stands out with its remarkable sustainable approach: using renewable energy, rejecting harmful solvents, and employing bioplastics and FSC-certified wood.

What is the Gnu Money snowboard made for?

The quality is not only found in their production process but also in the riding experience. With its directional twin shape, the Gnu Money offers exceptional comfort in powder and easy handling thanks to its setback inserts. Its symmetrical shape allows for switch riding in freestyle, and its soft flex helps with tricks. The W camber, combining traditional camber underfoot with a central rocker, gives the Money a playful feel while maintaining its dynamism and responsiveness. Designed for all-mountain freestyle, it allows for jibbing in the terrain park and sending tricks on side hits.

Who is the Gnu Money snowboard aimed at?

We recommend the Gnu Money for intermediate to advanced riders who are comfortable on all terrains and looking for a board to progress while having fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
