Gnu Snowboards was created in 1977 by Mike Olson and is part of the Mervin Manufacturing group based in Carlsborg, USA, which also owns Lib tech, Bent Metal and Roxy Snowboards. Gnu is committed to building eco-friendly boards with FSC-certified wood cores and bio-plastic coatings. The plant uses renewable energy and recycles all its waste. In addition to being environmentally friendly, Gnu boards are true concentrates of technology (Banana Tech, Magne-Traction, C2 camber).
