The Jones Dream Catcher is a versatile and easy to handle splitboard. The shape is efficient on all terrain but it's still easy to handle thanks to its generous nose and tail rockers, not too stiff a flex and the slightly backwards position of the inserts. You'll still find it easy to get into turns, without losing grip and support when you need it. In fact, the Traction Tech edges and classic camber section provide a secure edge grip on hard snow, both on descents and ascents. When conditions allow, don't hesitate to go for a treat in the fresh snow and take advantage of the good lift and comfortable ride to surf with ease between the pines. Qualitative and durable, it benefits from the new lighter Karakoram assembly clips, as well as an eco-responsible construction with sustainable materials such as recycled edges, as well as bio-based glue and wax. A quality splitboard for riders who dream of escaping the slopes.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
