The Jones Project X is a directional snowboard with a very stiff flex, making it verry efficient on any type of snow but also very demanding. It features a high-end construction with a wood core reinforced by carbon.  

What is the program of the Jones Project X snowboard?  

The Jones Project X is a very stiff board that will plough through everything. Nothing will stop it. Its shape and profile provide natural lift in powder, while retaining great manoeuvrability and good float in pow. The generous camber under the feet, combined to carbon, makes the board really explosive with very powerful rebound out of turns. You get lots of grip on groomers and lots of stability. This board is very efficient for carving.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
