The Jones Twin Sister is a directional twin offering loads of versatility because it allows to ride in a wide range of conditions and everywhere in the resort but can do freestyle as well. It benefits from a high quality, durable and eco-friendly construction. Topsheet, glue and wax are from organic materials, edges and ABS sidewalls are recycled.

What is the program of the Jones Twin Sister snowboard?

The Jones Twin Sister features a wooden core offering power while keeping some flex at the tips. It is a dynamic and stable board that remains comfortable to ride. Its shape gives it good capabilities on all kinds of snow. The classic camber section along with the Traction Tech 3.0 edges allow for a great deal of hold and stability on hard pack, but the rocker zones and the 3D Contour Base 2.0 give more forgiveness at the beginning of turns, a lot of smoothness on edge transfers as well as a better float in powder. Furthermore, the setback stance of the inserts helps handling on all terrains and offers effortless floatation. It is therefore perfect for all-mountain riding and fun all around the resort, keeping in mind that the tail length allows for switch riding and the well-balanced flex brings playfulness for freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
