Designed by K2 in collaboration with rider Yo Amagai, the Niseko Pleasures takes its name from the famous Japanese region. This snowboard, entirely dedicated to powder, offers excellent edge hold and great versatility to maximise the joy of riding, regardless of the conditions.

What is the K2 Niseko Pleasures snowboard made for?

The Niseko Pleasures features a directional shape with setback inserts and a slight fish tail, ensuring exceptional float, quick lift, and increased manoeuvrability. Turns flow smoothly, allowing you to weave effortlessly between trees while enjoying excellent playfulness. Comfortable to ride, the Niseko Pleasures is equipped with a Bambooyah wood core, renowned for its durability, and reinforced with biaxial fibres to provide rebound and great stability at high speeds. Its camber + rocker profile ensures good edge hold on hard snow and facilitates pivoting. It's the ideal board to fully enjoy deep days.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
