Snowboard Wonder

The Wonder is a directional twin snowboard, which means that its shape is symmetrical between the front and the back, which allows for great switching and freestyle possibilities, but the foot position is slightly set back in order to have more ease when entering a curve and lift in powder. The flex is well balanced, offering pop and bounce thanks to the glass fibre and basalt reinforced wood core, but maintaining enough softness for comfort and playability. Finally, the camber profile with rocker on the tips offers control on the edges while retaining tolerance. So, here is a snowboard that will please riders looking for versatility who want to alternate between freeride and freestyle, for varying the pleasures throughout the entire resort, while maintaining a good compromise between performance and comfort.

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. Is my board ready-to-use ?

The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

How to maintain your equipment ?

Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
