Our friends at Union Binding Company have worked with us to integrate their industry first Forged Carbon technology into multiple models. Lighter and stronger than titanium, Forged Carbon is the future of high-end, performance based products.
These 30mm high tensile strength carbon strips are grid-woven into Carbon super beams. As a snowboard flexes, internal additives are stressed. Matrix Carbon has been engineered to withstand maximum pressure and respond with a vengeance. This counteracting displacement of energy creates a board with twice the ollie power and response than a board with standard carbon additives.
Developed over a three-year span, this resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw materials. It is plant based that does not complete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or greenhouse emissions. In production, it has a low-temperature requirement with a high yield outpout. This resin system is poppy, powerful, and extremely durable. Magix Bean™ resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing us to decrease the wood core thickness. Capita's focus is to save wood core weight by increasing resin performance. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return.
The Holysheet™ fiberglass configuration features new fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higer roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. Triaxial fiberglass is placed on the top of the core and biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating a perfectly blended ride while increasing strength and durability. combine this layup with the Magic Bean™ resin and one of the many additives avaible, and you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding.
The Panda Core™ was built for a high performance return of energy in a lightweight and versatile core. From razor sharps turns on demand, to huge ollies, this core was engineered with all-terrain technical freestyle riding in mind. Comprised of the P2 Superlight Core and enhanced with inlaid Bamboo Power Rods, this core is strong enough to meet of the TFA customer while saving considerable weight
The Mountain V2 Profile features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider's performance in deep snow.

Shearing layers are very important when it comes to a board's durability. When layers along the sidewalls flex and bend there is an internal force that wants to pull the layers apart creating a failure in a board's fiberglass. In order to reduce that amount of internal force a softer layer is needed to act as a shock absorber and keep the board together. This thin layer of Urethane allows the board to bend and flex without the risk of failure during impact.
