Description

The Crosscut Camber is a directional snowboard with a powerful and top-of-the-range construction. Its FSC certified wood shell mixes poplar, paulownia and bamboo, its edges are made of recycled steel and it is bonded with bio-sourced resin and waxed in the factory with a natural wax. A beautiful, high-performance board with a careful and eco-friendly manufacturing process.

What is the programme of the Arbor Crosscut Camber snowboard?

The Crosscut Camber is built for precision in curves, with a directional shape that gives you more control on all terrain and better control in deep snow. The classic camber, Grip Tech edge protrusions and bamboo reinforcements along the edges provide great grip and stability at high speed, the ultimate in track carving. On the other hand, the board is not too stiff and the spatulas have a slightly convex shape for smoother edge to edge transitions. With the Crosscut Camber, you can ride fast with a good amount of engagement, while maintaining comfort and ease

Who is the Arbor Crosscut Camber snowboard for?

This board requires a bit of skill but is still accessible for a snowboarder who is just starting out. We recommend it if you like to ride fast and are looking for a board that is both high performance and comfortable in curves to draw beautiful lines throughout the resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
