Description

The Goliath is a directional twin with a light and tonic wood shell, reinforced with carbon along the length for more stability and pop. The classic camber makes full use of this energetic construction, offering great track ability, while the 3BT and SideKick technologies form concave spatulas for improved track playability and floatation in powder.

What is the programme of the snowboard Bataleon Goliath?

Twin directional, the Goliath mixes freestyle and all-mountain. Its symmetrical shape makes it balanced for tricks and switch passes, but the slightly set back position of the feet allows you to improve versatility and manoeuvrability. Turns are easier to take, and you also get a better powder ride. These qualities, combined with the light and dynamic construction, allow you to set the pace on your descents, with nice speed peaks without shaking. Nevertheless, it is still quite comfortable to ride, and a snowboarder with good poles will have no problem placing jib tricks and having fun in the snowpark.

Who is the Bataleon Goliath snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level for a sporty snowboarder who is not afraid of getting into a bit of trouble, the Goliath will also please confirmed and expert snowboarders who are looking for a high-performance, versatile and fun board to vary the pleasures.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
