Description

With Capita, we are used to boards rich in technology and the Scott Stevens Pro model is no exception to the rule! This board has a sandwich of materials in which everything is thought to provide either more pop, more cushioning or more durability. This includes a Cork Inlaid Pro Core 2.0 wood shell a mix of FSC certified wood and cork, four linen and aramid reinforcements (Technora + Flax Boosters) in the spatulas and a cork strip along each tile (1.5 mm Cork Edge Dampening System) to protect them from shocks.

What is the Capita Scott Stevens Pro snowboard programme?

The Scott Stevens Pro is a twin-tip that is both playful and explosive. Offered in 5 lengths, we tend to choose it as short as possible in order to better control it and enjoy its playability. It is a fantastic board for anyone who likes to tackle flat tricks, play with the spatulas and copy the latest tricks seen on Instagram. In addition to its high-quality construction that offers flexibility, pop, cushioning and strength, there is also a camber profile that makes it easier to get tricks in. It provides a secure grip, while remaining very tolerant of edge faults so that you don't go off the rails in the event of a slightly risky landing. In addition, it also passes very well in powder. Love shredding, you'll love it!

Who is the Capita Scott Stevens Pro snowboard for?

Easy to ride due to its flexibility and forgiving camber, the Scott Stevens Pro remains a very high-end model that we recommend to experienced/expert snowboarders looking for the best possible board for jib and freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
