Description

The Capita Spring Break Powder Twin belongs to a particular category, mixing freestyle and powder, pretty much what you enjoy the most about snowboarding! To do so, you find a wide board with big rockers to float effortlessly, combined to a twin-tip shape allowing to ride switch a plenty, as well as a not too stiff flex enabling to ride without pushing too hard on the legs and have some playfulness. It guarantees very fun sessions during which you will be able to dive into off-piste powder and navigate through the trees, but also ride on groomers or send tricks on rails and boxes in the terrain park. From the intermediate level for any snowboarder looking for a freestyle-oriented snowboard to enjoy deep conditions or a powder style board to send lots of tricks!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
