Description

The PBJ returns for another season in DC’s lineup but it is completely redesigned to offer a fresher and sleeker look. The soul of the board remains unchanged though and the PBJ is still the good old all-mountain freestyle board we fell in love with in the past seasons.

What can the DC PBJ snowboard do?

You are going to love the PBJ if you haven’t tried it already. It is a light and playful board, a flexy park toy, a fun do-it-all shred stick that’s going to make you happy no matter the conditions. Whether you float the pow or prefer carving trenches on groomers, whether your thing is lapping the park endlessly or you’d rather have fun on pillows, the PBJ is here for you. The light and reactive construction allows quick edge to edge transfers to keep the ride lively while the beveled edges offer a smoother and catchfree ride with a more buttery feel. Poppin’ and jibbin’ are also part of the board’s performance package which turns into a real killer when you throw it in the park.

Who is the DC PBJ snowboard designed for?

We recommend the PBJ to intermediate riders who want a stable and predictable board that’s going to help them ratchet their game up a notch. If the PBJ does feel like a freestyle board, it remains extremely versatile and delivers all-round performance, from the pistes to the streets.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
