Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Airheart 2.0 is a highly comprehensive model, a snowboard with a very technically advanced construction that seeks performance first and foremost. It relies on a directional twin shape, offers nice performances without being a monster of stiffness solely meant for steep freeriding either. We are dealing with a versatile snowboard, that has a good power/weight ratio and remains playful.

What is the program of the Jones Airheart 2.0 snowboard?

The Jones Airheart 2.0 is a directional twin with a full classic camber profile. It works well in switch, facilitates turn initiations to link turns with precision and offers excellent grip and lots of rebound for carving. Its Power Core wood core is reinforced by triaxial glass fibre and a composite weave pairing carbon and Innegra. This combination offers maximum pop, rebound and responsiveness, while remaining lightweight. You can carve through groomers at will, a real treat. The slightly setback stance facilitates handling, while providing versatility in terms of terrain. This way, you get natural lift in powder, allowing to contemplate off-piste sessions. Finally, to save weight and therefore manoeuvrability, the nose benefits from a Koroyd insert, a top notch technology which consists of an ultra-light synthetic material.

Who is the Jones Airheart 2.0 snowboard for?

We recommend the Airheart 2.0 to advanced to expert level female snowboarders looking for a powerful and versatile board with which they will be able to shred hard in the entire resort, change terrain at will, while retaining serious freestyle capabilities.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
