Description

The Hovercraft has never worn its name better. This floating object is a blast. Shaped like a powder missile, the board attacks the wild side of the mountain and rips it apart. Featuring a blunt nose and and a directional rocker, the Hovercraft floats on powder as if it was easy and remains ridiculously agile whatever the conditions. The traditional camber keeps power and responsiveness to their highest level while the tail provides powerful turn exits. The Hovercraft has so much breaking power than you won't ever want to ride any other boards afterwards. Think twice before getting it, there's no going back !

What our testers say : A sporty freeride board suited to riders who know what they're signing for. The board is stiff, powerful, edgy, responsive and any other synonyms that comes to your mind. It's a demanding board and your legs will remind you of that at the end of the day. In counterpart, it's so much fun to ride that it doesn't matter how tired it gets. This performer works incredibly well on any terrain. You can go full speed on a steep wide slope and meet unexpected hard tracked out powder, you won't feel anything. Great pick for advanced and expert riders.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
