Description

This is the girly version of the Vandal, suited for young ladies who want to start snowboarding. Featuring a construction mirroring the adult models, the board is strong and durable on top of being pretty. It’s everything a girl needs for learning with peace of mind.

What can the K2 Kandi snowboard do?

The Kandi is a child snowboard for girls who want to discover the joys of snowboarding. The board is smooth, soft and flexy and fits any style of riding. Featuring a flat camber and rockers in the tips, kids can lay turns easily on this catchfree and forgiving ride. The board grips well on hard snow without feeling too hooky and it floats on powder pretty effortlessly. It deals with more difficult conditions like crud easily and provides stability and control. It’s also a good option for park-oriented riders who want to progress their freestyle game. In other words, the Kandi can do it all!

Who is the K2 Kandi snowboard designed for?

With a board like this, every little girl can improve painlessly. The Kandi is so forgviging that it absorbs most mistakes due to practice and boosts kids’ confidence. It’s a board calling for progression and we thoroughly recommend it to the very beginners up to intermediate riders.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
