Description

Lightweight, flexible and durable construction, flat camber for a secure grip and edge fault tolerance, the K2 Lil Kat is the perfect model for the first snowboard slides.

What is the program of the snowboard K2 Lil Kat?

The K2 Lil Kat is a kid's snowboard, with a light and robust wood core reinforced with fiberglass. It offers a soft and accessible flex which facilitates turns and descents, making the board more manoeuvrable. The flat camber provides a good level of softness in the board/snow contact, with a good compromise between edge control and forgiveness. The rocker zones also make the board more accessible, while making it easier to ride soft snow and edges. Perfect for spring riding when the snow tends to warm up and become soupy. The Lil Kat allows you to ride all season long on the slopes and edges, with maximum ease and tolerance to progress and have fun.

Who is the K2 Lil Kat snowboard for?

This model is designed for little girls who are new to snowboarding or who practice as a hobby.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
