Description

The Ride Warpig is a snowboard with a rather original shape, very angular and a little wider than average. It is also designed to be ridden in a rather short size. Remember to choose it between 6 and 10 centimetres shorter than your usual snowboard size. Reinforced with carbon and equipped with Slim Walls with urethane for a better cushioning, it is both tonic and pleasant to ride.

What does the Ride Warpig snowboard have to offer?

The Warpig has a directional shape, with a good amount of rocker in the front tip and a slightly tapered tail. This allows for a quicker entry into the curve and an easy lift in powder. With the addition of a classic camber section between the inserts providing good grip, this is already a board that is effective both on and off piste. The slightly shorter and wider than average shape is quick to pick up and gives you an extra level of manoeuvrability and flotation. The construction is responsive and stable, but still has enough flex to send you through the modules and rails of the snowpark. This is an ultra-versatile board that is fun and comfortable to ride but still allows you to perform.

Who is the Ride Warpig snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate/advanced level, this board will please the versatile snowboarder who does freestyle but also likes to have nice runs on and off the piste. And if you want a board that's a bit out of the ordinary but rides easily, you won't be disappointed.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
