Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bellevue is one of the best women’s freeride board from Salomon. This high-performance snowboard still offers some flex to provide optimal comfort all day long. In addition, it is easy to ride and very stable, letting you unleash your riding in total safety out there in the mountains.

What is the program of the Salomon Bellevue snowboard?

The Bellevue is directional board, designed for freeride and capable of all-round riding. Its pronounced traditional camber offers power and the ability to gather speed on various types of terrain. On powder, its directional tapered shape and setback foot stance make it easier to lift. The setback foot stance also facilitates turn initiations. The camber provides grip and precision, as well as powerful rebound on groomers or hardpack. The poplar wood core is reinforced by layers of fiberglass and carbon to stiffen the board and increase its high-speed stability and dynamism off-piste or when carving.

Who is the Salomon Bellevue snowboard for?

Because of its powerful freeride-oriented construction, the Bellevue is dedicated to advanced and expert female snowboarders who feel comfortable on any terrain and don’t want to ride only on groomed runs.

What are the main assets of the Salomon Bellevue snowboard?

Precision

Manoeuvrability

Stability

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
