Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Featuring a twin-tip shape, the Salomon Craft snowboard is perfectly symmetrical from the nose to the tail and the bindings inserts are centred on the board. This shape is ideal for freestyle, as it offers the option to ride both ways. On this quality board, you will also find materials to provide flexibility and cushioning, as well as a versatile profile allowing maximum freedom in your riding style.

What is the program of the Salomon Craft snowboard?

Inside the board is located a wood core covered by two layers of biaxial glass fibre, to provide good stability while retaining a playful behaviour. The Popster construction improves the pop to facilitate your ollies and improve the rebound out of turns. Just behind the edges, cork sidewalls improve the torsional stiffness while being lightweight. Cork dampens the impacts that are sure to happen often in freestyle. With the Craft, you will be able to venture in the entire resort with lots of playfulness thanks to a very versatile camber + rocker profile, as the camber takes care of grip and rebound, while the rockers are here for lift and manoeuvrability. While its main playgrounds are first and foremost, the slopes, side hits and terrain park, you still can try off-piste riding if you have good skills. This is a truly enjoyable board to ride, with which you will be able to land maximum tricks and which will adapt to your riding style.

Who is the Salomon Craft snowboard for?

Intermediate to advanced riders will know how to exploit the full potential of this versatile freestyle board, which begs to play on any jump in the resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
