Description

New design and new name for the board which was known as the Rancho. Now called the reserve, both boards have the same intentions. Driven by performance, this freeride-oriented gun was designed jointly with Josh Dirksen's. Its Ghost Green Core and carbon reinforcements give it tons of power and responsiveness with quick edge to edge transfers. The board snaps out of turns and works like a dream at high speed. The Backseat camber changes completely the way of riding with a cambered zone under the rear foot for added power and a flat zone under the front foot for more agility. It's like re-discovering how to snowboard!

What our testers say : Great all-mountain board, quite stiff and very responsive, it's a board suited for going fast regardless of the terrain. It works like an alpine snowboard on groomers while its directional shape enhances the board's manoeuverability on powder. It steers intuitively and slaloms easily through rocks and trees. We recommend it to advanced level riders who, once again, like to ride hard and fast.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
