Description

The Sickstick is probably one of the best snowboards available out there! Carrying as many technologies as possible, this board has you covered for anything the mountain has to offer. Whatever your inspiration of the day, whatever the conditions, the Sickstick guarantees another best day. The board features a lively bamboo woodcore notorious for its lightweight and responsiveness. The profile of the board was designed to offer the best of all worlds with camber zones keeping reactivity to its best, a flat midsection for added stability and rockers through both tips enhancing floatation and playfulness. In short, this means the board is packed up with performance and shaped up for shredding!

What our testers say : This is the board we'd give to advanced riders who think of the mountain as a big playground. Those for who a bump can be a kicker and a fallen tree turns into a rail opportunity. The board feels pretty stiff which makes it efficient on hard snow but a little demanding. That's also why it feels so reactive and poppy. It really makes no doubt that good freestylers are going to get on with it, sure thing.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
