Description

The Villain is a slight evolution of the Salomonder. It's one of those jibbing boards but with more performance, more precision, and more versatility. Perfect for those who like shredding rails and boxes. The board's packed with nerves and has a tremendous pop. It features the Equalizer concept that gives it more grip, and the edges have been tuned so that you can ride extremely precisely. The Villain will require a bit more technique than the Salomonder but will definitely please all jibbers who like to ride everything.

What our testers say : The board features the new technology Rock out camber (flat between bindings, underfeet camber, rockered tips). The twin is loaded with pop but stays versatile with its rocker that will guarantee good powder sessions. We recommend it to advanced freestylers or intermediate to advanced level riders looking for a playful and forgiving twin that know how to be supportive and versatile.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
