Description

The SRX is the dedicated carving board in the Santa Cruz range, a high-performance deck that's sure to give you maximum thrills in the curves. Get ready to hurtle down the slopes at full speed, linking turns with style and power!

What's in the Santa Cruz SRX snowboard program?

The Santa Cruz SRX features a very specific shape, immediately identifiable with its distinctive tip shape. Beyond the aesthetic aspect, this cut-out allows increasing the effective edge length without altering the overall length of the board. Combined with a classic camber from nose to tail, this gives you phenomenal grip so you can engage even on icy slopes. Finally, a fairly rigid core means the SRX doesn't shake when you're going max speed, while the rear position of the inserts gives you total control and greater ease of engaging curves. A true racing beast, the ultimate board to go boarder cross, slalom or show amateurs what carving means!

Who is the Santa Cruz SRX snowboard designed for?

The SRX will be perfect for a confirmed to expert snowboarder looking for a highly toned model offering maximum grip and control for riding hard on groomed snow.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
