The Paradise Lost from Verdad is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard. If offers good grip on hardpack, good float in powder, and is particularly playful, making it the ideal companion for park sessions. 

What is the program of the Verdad Paradise Lost snowboard? 

The Paradise Lost features a light and responsive wood core, well-balanced between power and flexibility. The camber + rocker profile provides secure grip on groomers, while the rocker areas at the tips improve the ability to lift and float in powder. They also make the board more playful in the terrain park, presses and butters are easy. The twin-tip shape, symmetrical from nose to tail is perfect to ride switch and offers lots of agility. As you can tell, this board is perfect for freestyling on the slopes, but can also be ridden in the park and send tricks on side hits.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
