Description

The Winter Is Mine has a twin directional shape, symmetrical between nose and tail like a freestyle board, but with a slightly set back position of the feet which makes it easier to take turns and to jump in powder snow. Its flex is dynamic without being too stiff, and it has a camber + rockers profile that offers a lot of versatility.

What is the programme of Verdad Winter Is Mine snowboarding?

The Winter Is Mine is an all-round board by definition, offering a constant level of performance whatever the terrain. It can be used both on a day in the resort where you will mainly ride the piste and also a bit of snowpark as off-piste snow is not interesting, and on a day where you can enjoy the snow between the pines to slash powder. It offers stability as regards to speed, bounce in the turns and a good ollie pop, without being too physically demanding. Thanks to its twin directional profile, it is easy to take turns while still being able to switch. A versatile gem.

Who is the Verdad Winter Is Mine snowboard intended for?

Accessible from the intermediate/confirmed level, this model is ideal for snowboarders who alternate a lot between on and off-piste, but it is also suitable for those who like to put some freestyle tricks in their runs.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
