Description

You won't win the lottery with the Jackpot but you'll definitely have a good time. The Jackpot is another amazing Yes board and it's been around for a few years giving Yes enough time to fine tune the jewel and make sure it was a blast. Featuring a Poplar core with Impact Blocks and beech reinforcements under the bindings, a twin tipped shape and a Camrock camber, the board is agile, playful and incredibly poppy but it also offers a solid stability on groomers whether you ride switch or regular. Its edges involve two small bumps enhancing the grip, quite handy when you're in an iced pipe. The Jackpot is an incredible freestyle machine that bring playfulness and fun to another level. You really can't go wrong with that board.

What our testers say : True twin board on the edge between performance and playfulness. It was one of our favorite tests by far. The board is pretty soft through the tips allowing to have fun easily whether you're shredding the park or working on your nose press, while the midsection feels stiffer and stabler, handling speed with ease. It's a very progressive board that can help intermediate riders to step up their game. It's also a great match to advanced riders who want a versatile board that's easy to use anywhere and that delivers fun no matter what. Highly recommended.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
