Description

Designed to hike in a variety of terrain, the Tubbs Flex Rgd snowshoe features an easy-to-use Tubbs CustomWrap binding with a Boa closure system designed for quick and easy adjustments. It is the only Tubbs Day Hiking snowshoe that incorporates the heel strap directly into the binding construction, offering exceptional precision.

This 24" men's model is ideal for hikers up to 86kg and is suitable for up to 95kg total weight. The optimal load refers to the weight of the user and everything they carry (backpack, equipment, etc.). Recommended loads are based on dry and light snow conditions, deep powder snow may require a larger snowshoe to gain lift.

Pivoting axis of rotation

The pivoting system allows the front crampons to bite into the ground in hard snow. This rotation movement allows the snow to be evacuated towards the rear, which reduces the cardio-respiratory tension by 7%. Tubbs has also included a rotation limiter, a kind of stop, which prevents excessive rotation and promotes un-boosting.

CustomWrap Binding

The CustomWrap Binding, with its Boa locking system, is innovative and fast. You slide your foot into the binding, turn the Boa knob, and the snowshoe snugly and precisely grips the shoe. This type of binding is one of the most intuitive and efficient on the market.

Traction Rails

The front steel/carbon crampon, ergonomically placed under the foot, optimizes traction on steep slopes. This snowshoe also features curved 3D traction rails for superior grip in all icy or difficult conditions. These rails greatly improve the handling on slopes. The progressive molded snow brakes improve grip when the snowshoe is loaded a little. This means you can go downhill with peace of mind, this Tubbs snowshoe is always there.

Torsion Deck

The advanced Torsion Deck design allows the snowshoe to deform and adapt to the terrain without creating unpleasant twists on the ankle. The contact between the snowshoe and the snowy ground is always maximum, which improves the grip and the comfort of walking on uneven ground.

Flex Tail:

The ergonomically and biomechanically designed flex tail automatically deforms and absorbs the shock caused by the heel strike, significantly reducing stress on the joints and allowing you to walk further, longer.
